Revitalizing North Adams: A Clear Path for Our Infrastructure

As your next Mayor, I'll start by working immediately with every city department to define exactly what our infrastructure entails. This means a comprehensive assessment of our roads, bridges, water systems, public buildings, and digital networks. We must understand the precise condition of these vital assets, identify critical vulnerabilities, and prioritize repairs and upgrades based on real data, not assumptions.

This won't always be easy. There will be hard choices to make, and I'm prepared to make them. More importantly, I'm committed to sharing this entire process with our community. You'll know what we find, what decisions we're making, and why. Transparency and open communication will be cornerstones of my administration's approach to infrastructure.

Simply put, we must determine where we are before we can effectively determine our direction. Only by thoroughly understanding the state of our infrastructure can we create a strategic, long-term plan to rebuild, modernize, and ensure North Adams has the reliable infrastructure it needs to support a thriving population and a growing economy.
